Kilpisjärvi, Finland —
For the celebration of the upcoming Winter Season 2019-20, Arctic Land Adventure also announced their newly updated winter experience packages and availability of 4 luxury Glass Igloos located at Vasara Reindeer Ranch at Kilpisjärvi, the northwesternmost corner of Finland.
Unforgettable Combination of Reindeer Ranch Visit and Glass Igloo Luxury Accommodation
Arctic Land Adventure’s key product is the luxury Glass Igloo accommodation combined with ‘live like a local’ Reindeer Ranch visit and traditional Lappish food experience featuring local reindeer meat, fish and berries.
“The product testing during our first winter season has given us good indication on what international guests are expecting and what they are interested in. We have tweaked our home visit experience and Reindeer Ranch activities to consider the cultural differences but at the same time to offer unique opportunity to get closer to real Sámi life,” said Mia Aitalaakso, CEO at Arctic Land Adventure.
While staying at luxurious Glass Igloos with the view to the wilderness, Vasara Family invites their overnight guests to become part of the daily routines at the Ranch and to familiarize them to the Reindeer Herder’s life over a cosy family dinner. This enables the guests to feel special and pampered experiencing a home-like atmosphere.
Guests wishing more privacy can be catered at their own Glass Igloos to enjoy the meals under the thousand starts and if lucky, under the Northern Lights. Northern Lights season starts in September and continues until April.
Arctic Land Adventure offers also experience packages to visitors not staying at the Ranch. The activity packages are designed to give the guests a glimpse to the Reindeer Herder’s life, offer an opportunity to be part of the nature and wildlife, and to hunt the Northern Lights during the dark Winter nights.
